Introduction

The t:SelectManyCheckbox tag extends the JSF h:SelectManyCheckbox tag.



Tag Attributes

alt The alt attribute is a standard HTML attribute that sets the alternate textual description rendered by this component.  
binding The value-binding expression linking this component tag to a backing bean property.String
converter An expression that specifies the Converter for this component. If the value binding expression is a String, the String is used as an ID to look up a Converter. If the value binding expression is a Converter, uses that instance as the converter. The value can either be a static value (ID case only) or an EL expression. String

dir The dir attribute is a standard HTML attribute that overrides the default text directionality for this component. The values accepted for this component are "LTR" (left-to-right) and "RTL" (right-to-left). String
disabled The disabledClass attribute sets the CSS style class to apply to the component for disabled options.String
displayValueOnly The displayValueOnly attribute expects a boolean value that, when set to true, causes a tag to render its value only, and not the associated UI component. String
displayValueOnlyStyle The displayValueOnlyStyle attribute defines the CSS style applied to the display value of this tag when the displayValueOnly attribute is set to true. String
displayValueOnlyStyleClass The displayValueOnlyStyleClass attribute defines the CSS class applied to the display value of this tag when the displayValueOnly attribute is set to true. String
enabledClass The enabledClass attribute sets the CSS style class to apply to the component for enabled options. String
enabledOnUserRole If user is in given role, this component will be rendered normally. If not, no hyperlink is rendered but all nested tags (=body) are rendered.String
escape The escape attribute, when set to true, causes the content of this tag to be rendered as unescaped HTML. The default value is true. String
forceId A boolean value;If true, this component will force the use of the specified id when rendering.String
forceIdIndex The forceIdIndex attribute effects the component ID name when this component is rendered at runtime. It expects a boolean value that, when true, causes the component to display an index number in its ID value if the component is in a list. It has a default value of true. String
id The unique identifier value for this component. The value must be unique within the closest naming container (e.g.,h:form or f:subview).This value must be a static value.String
immediate A boolean value that identifies the phase during which action events should fire. During normal event processing, action methods and action listener methods are fired during the "invoke application" phase of request processing. If this attribute is set to "true", these methods are fired instead at the end of the "apply request values" phase.String
layout The layout attribute specifies the layout direction of the child elements. Values include: lineDirection (vertical) and pageDirection (horzontal).String
layoutWidth The layoutWidth attribute specifies the number of checkbox rows if the layout is lineDirection and the number of checkbox columns if the layout is pageDirection.

readonly The readonly attribute is a boolean flag that when set to true prohibits changes to this element by the user. The element will continue to receive focus unless you set the disabled attribute to true. String

requiredThe required attribute is a boolean flag that indicates whether or not the user is required to provide a value for this field before the form can be submitted to the server.String
styleThe style attribute sets the CSS style definition to be applied to this component when it is rendered.String

tabindextabindex String The tabindex attribute is a standard HTML attribute that sets the order in which this element receives focus when the user cycles through the elements using the TAB key. The value for this attribute must be an integer between 0 and 32767. String
titleAn advisory title for this element. Often used by the user agent as a tooltip.String
validatorA method binding EL expression, accepting FacesContext, UIComponent, and Object parameters, and returning void, that validates the component's local value. A validator method must be a public method that takes FacesContext, UIComponent, and Object parameters, with a return type of void.String
valueThe value attribute sets the current value for this component.String
valueChangeListenerThe valueChangeListener attribute accepts a method-binding expression representing a value change listener method to be notified when a new value has been set for this input component. A value change listener method must be a public method that takes a ValueChangeEvent parameter, with a return type of void.String
visibleOnUserRole The visibleOnUserRole attribute determines if this component will be visible or not depending on the user's roles. String
